1. Controller
EcoAutark UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Am Kaiserkai 53, 20457 Hamburg, Germany
Managing director: Nikolai Mihaylov
Email: info@ecoautark.com
2. No cookies, no tracking, no connection to Google
This website is purely informational. We do not set cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing services.
The fonts are embedded locally and are delivered together with the website by our hosting provider. No fonts are loaded from Google servers. When you visit the website, no connection is made to Google or any other third party.
As we do not use any technologies on your device that require consent, there is no cookie banner.
3. Hosting via Cloudflare
The website is provided via the Cloudflare platform (Cloudflare Workers). The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This is necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website.
Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
To protect against attacks, Cloudflare may set technically necessary security cookies. Under § 25(2) TDDDG these are permitted without consent. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
4. Contact by email and contact form
If you write to us by email or via the contact form, we process the information you provide (for the form: name, email address and message) in order to answer your enquiry.
The information from the contact form is not stored on the website. It is forwarded to our mailbox as an email via Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Email Routing).
To protect against automated spam, the form contains a field that is invisible to people, and your browser checks how much time passes between opening the page and sending the form. No additional data is stored for this and no other services are used.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Notification when we go live (double opt-in, Brevo)
If you sign up on the home page, we will inform you by email as soon as EcoAutark goes live. For this we process your email address and the language you chose.
Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: you first receive an email with a confirmation link. You are only added after you confirm. To be able to prove your consent, the sign-up and confirmation data (in particular the times) are stored (Art. 7(1) GDPR). We do not measure whether our emails are opened (no tracking pixel).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@ecoautark.com. After withdrawal we delete your address; we keep the proof of consent only as long as it is needed to defend against claims.
We use Brevo to send these emails (Brevo SAS, 9–17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France). Brevo processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR) under a data protection agreement. No Brevo script is loaded on the website itself; your entry is transmitted to Brevo by our server. More information: brevo.com/en/legal/privacypolicy
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to info@ecoautark.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
7. Encryption
The website and the contact form are transmitted exclusively via an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
